Hotel Das Essigmanngut

The hotel is very clean and orderly, the breakfast is well made and cared for. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The most important of them all, the view is amazing from every angle and corner. The bus station is very close to the hotel and there’s a very nice and big supermarket 10 minutes away. The all day long available refreshments and coffee make for a very nice feature. We always made sure to make time in our schedule for a relaxing evening in the lobby with a cup of coffee and an amazing view. Would definitely recommend staying there for a relaxing vacation.

Nice area, nice hotel, clean rooms, lovely interiors as well as outside. Exceptional breakfast selection. Easy to reach city as well as quick an easy to come / leave by car. Only drawback is that if your room is facing the highway side , it is still possible to hear little bit of noise which is ok yet definitely can't sleep with open window. This may be an issue during the summer as the room has no AC. However, there is a possibility to book rooms facing garden.

Gorgeous location for a hotel, right by the mountains which we loved. You can easily get onto the highway by car, plenty parking. We were on foot so used the bus stop right on the main road - 5 minute walk and you can use number 25 to salzburg city and also Hellbrunn. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. We were located on upper floor be aware no lift reaches this floor and you need to use the stairs from 1st floor. Amenities in the room were good although lacking tea/coffee and AC. Breakfast was lovely, plenty choice for all tastes which runs from 6.30-10. The seating area ouside was lovely, overlooking the mountains and lots of pretty flowers. Soundproofing is good although closing the windows at night was a must for us due to traffic noise. Really enjoyed our stay here and would love to visit again in the future!

Conveniently located next to the highway so perfect for your overnight stay to Italy/Slovenia/Croatia or on your way back. Looks like they recently renovated as the rooms (stayed at #10) are modernized and have everything you could ask for. With the windows/door closed the sound of the highway was reduced to a minimum. The whole family slept like a baby. They even have a playground for your children and on the other side a terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff speaks English fluently. Breakfast was phenomenal with everything you could ask for. There is no possibility to have an evening meal but they have up to 10 restaurants they can refer you to. We choose number 8 as it was only a short walk from the hotel. Oh boy the schnitzel were delicious (and cheap)! Would recommend this hotel to everyone with a 10 out of 10.

The dryer floods the bathroom. It's a shame that the service workers don't clean the sinks and wash dishes. It was very hot without air conditioning. Because the balcony is not private, we could not open a door to let in air. The option to sit at the tables in the evening is excellent and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent
